No Yaya in the team...

Perhaps not, perhaps I'm on the defensive because I'm being asked what I am, which I found a bit disrespectful, I am after all just giving my opinion.
Come to think of it, the game that Everton beat us Yaya was playing advanced in that one too.

No matter how advance a midfielder is asked to play , he has a duty to the team , to make tackles , and run about a bit , you appear to be missing the point , he has'nt got the legs anymore , i would love to turn back the clock 5 years , because he was a beast of a player , but all good things come to an end .Pep will almost certainly bring his City career to an end ,just hope his agent can keep his gob shut and the club and Yaya part on good terms , maybe a nice move to NYCFC would be a solution

The sad thing is I think Yaya could still play a part for us with Peps arrival but I get the feeling he doesn't want to knuckle down and accept a smaller role. That's purely guess work on my part but that's how I see it.

You're missing the point, we were talking about teams using a high press and whether Yaya can cope with that, you then used games as examples. I'm pointing out that he played further up the pitch in two of them games so he wasn't being pressed in possession deep in our half.

As far as guardiola is concerned it is nothing to do with tactics. He desires that every player is aware of defending even when in possession. Something that Toure is incapable off.

Well i would love to continue this debate , but its repetitive and going round in circles , lets agree to disagree , ive got a English breakfast and a pint in the Costa Del Sol sun waiting for me. :)

His agent is doing everything in his power to make Yaya staying here an impossibility. He wants one last big move for Yaya so he can get a nice big juicy signing fee.

Sure I read summat a while back where Seluk said they had received a huge offer from China, dunno if anyone else seen it?

Pep luv players that can hold ball not kick and run players. The president of Bayern munich was complaining of pep's style of play, which is Barca's style of play. Pep luv ball possession.
You're a bit of a Yaya fan-boy aren't you? I recognise the good stuff that Yaya has done and still does for us but Pep's teams also have to try to recover the ball quickly when they do lose it and that's not Yaya's strength. Even players like Silva & de Bruyne are going to have to change. Plus Toure's getting on now and his overall level of performance has dropped the last two seasons.

I didn't see any quotes from Selfsuk about it but there were reports in the tabloids that Shanghai SIPG have offered him a deal. Sven is their manager
