Never forget that toothless grin dancing across Wembley with the world cup in his hand. Sleep well, Nobby.

He played 3 consecutive years for Manchester Boys which is almost unheard of. As a little 'un of 13 he was playing with and against strapping 15 year olds at a decent level. His most endearing stat was that he scored more derby goals for City (2) than United (1).

A great character who suffered worsening Alzheimer's for years. RIP Nobby.

Sad day , my dad a lifelong blue always told me he was a really nice bloke , he was also a a very good footballer .

He was the speaker at couple of sportsman’s dinners I have been to the first he was in his prime the second one sadly Alzheimer’s had been diagnosed. His son was the comedian and was very funny and was clearly very close to him.
