Nobody giving Sunderland credit??

Bit of a strange result.

Birmingham came from 2 behind to draw there and you get beat there.

I'm not sure lots of teams will get beat there.

I'd say 8 at the most.

Man City,
Wigan,
Bolton,
Blackpool,
Fulham,
Blackburn,
Wolves,
West Ham.

Some quality teams there. Seriously though, as you're a Villa fan can I ask....I've got Albrighton in my fantasy league team, was that a stroke of genius or was I just lucky?

Yes Sunderland fought back strongly in the 2nd half, but honestly we threw the game away with that Tevez chance.

Get that goal and I feel without being arrogant we are comfortable considering when City score first they tend to win.

This. The game was on a knife edge and the result of a few moments in the match.

I will give credit to Sunderland for an improved 2nd half (they were at home), not for the full 3 points. An unconvincing penalty given in the 3rd minute of injury to snatch the points feels like robbery after the way that first half went down.

Albrighton has been good, he'll soon burn out and do nothing.

That'll still be more than Downing.

Genius as I bet no-one else has got him.

I've got Balotelli.
I've also got the world class Drogba and Bent tho ;)

you lost 6-0 to newcastle, spurs lost at home to wigan, so really it's a bit arrogant to say only bottom half teams will lose there 2bh, they had 1 of the best home records last year.

Also for the person who said Sunderland are a shit club with shit fans and a shit ground, after spending a day in their hospitality(not the ground's, I mean the hospitality of the Sunderland fans) they are certainly anything but, so do me a favour and fuck off please, because that arrogance is sickening.

Is Downing really that bad?? You're not the only Villa fan I've heard say that but I've never understood why. Always seemed a decent enough player to me. I bet you wished you signed Adam Johnson instead hey?!
