Foo Fighters, Sound Garden, Radiohead were all better in the 90's, at the mo check out a band called Blue October. Oasis wouldn't get in my top 50 bands of the 90's!

I know music is personal taste, but this is staggering. im lost for words

I'm lost for words that anybody ever thinks that Oasis have any musical merit what so ever, bereft of originality, depth of composition or technical ability, only someone who just doesn't listen to music much and hasn't played an instrument would give them any credit!

I also thought Oasis where shite when compared to any of their peers in that Britpop era. Fair play to em though. Noel is a decent song writer and although his little brother is an obnoxous little bellend Noel seems like a good lad every time i've heard him chat.

They where never as good musicly as Blur, Suede, Radiohead etc. They where about as musicly adept and original as Status Quo.

However in this interview he certainly sounded as if he was privy to some very exciting news. I doubt he would make that shit up on live radio as it would simply come back and make him look like an arse.

I do play an instrument by the way, ive played the guitar for 15 years. technical abilty? the beatles were really great at playing their instruments weren't they?! but i bet you think sound garden are better than them anyway. Oasis made 2 of the best albums ever FACT!!!! as voted by music listeners all around the world (pardon the pun). can you name 50 bands in the 90's? i seriously doubt it. just say "i personally don't like oasis", and get on with your day, rather than coming out with utter bollocks. Foo fighters, and sound garden shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as oasis. look at the quality of the singles they put out including the B sides. Foo fighters and sound garden couldn't release a number 1 selling album from just b sides. depth of somposition - sound garde? hahahahahahahahaha

Are you seriously trying to say that Oasis have ever had a lead guitar player who would rank in the top 100 in England, John Squire would be pissing his sides for starters, you shouldn't mistake journey men buskers for people with real talent!

i would swap being a great guitarist for being a good song writer anyday. there are millions of great guitarists round the world. but not many who can right good songs.

Oasis weren't much cop at that either, crap lead singer, crap guitarist and boring songs, utter shite.
Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Faith no more, Offspring, Smashing pumpkins, Eadiohead, Alice in chains, Manic st preachers, creed, greenday, stone temple pilots, chilli peppers, matchbox twenty, korn, tool , metallica....... I could go on but they're all better than Noasis!
