Oasis aren't a great band, and they are vastly over-rated. That doesn't mean they're crap, but they were just something different than what was around at the time; just like The Beatles.

I doubt Noel Gallagher knows anything. How can he know anything? How can he be allowed to know anything when he spends his life doing TV appearences and radio interviews? Something will be exposed or alluded to.

He sounded like he was tripped up a bit on Torres but then he later seemed to hint it wasn't Torres or Gerrard saying ''they wouldn't get in the team with these names I've been told'' - this says to me that Torres was mentioned as a target but not as a definite, whereas other players were mentioned as a definite.

Surprised at where they're coming from/going to to me can only imply the rags. But would Noel have sounded so cheery about it if we were just losing a player to the rags? One coming the other way too perhaps?

I can't see what else could be shocking purely in terms of the club a player was going to or coming from. We've already signed a player from the best club in the world.
