Noel Gallagher - Chasing Yesterday

really into this album, thought his first was decent but this is better imo. dying of the light, the right stuff and ballad of the mighty I are the stand out tracks.
 
Better than his previous album if you ask me, less single hits but miles better quality over the entire thing. Ballad of the Mighty I is fantastic!

Doubt there will ever be an Oasis return but albums like this make you remember just how good they were and how good of a songwriter Noel is.
 
Think the album is absolutely brilliant, but I don't get all the acclaim that The Right Stuff is getting. Don't get me wrong, they are ll good songs, but this doesn't strike me as the standout on the record like some are saying (not even close).

It's the 1 grower on the album I think, and in 6 months it could well be the most catchy because of its unusual jazz style.

Noel was quality at the arena last night, just a brilliant, brilliant artist.

I'm with you there. The Right Stuff is probably my least favourite track there. Having said that, it's still a 6 out of 10. Just a really outstanding album and a good progression for a 40+ year old.
 
first time I listened to ballad of the mighty I, I wasn't impressed but its really grown on me.
 
Absoulute brilliant gig last night

Only thing which ruined it - went with my brother who wanted a fag so we quickly went outside - on our return they didn't let us back in, apparently that's the policy - really pissed off , only missed the last few tracks but that would have made it a epic night otherwise.
