You know what I'm looking forward to the most? Being excited again.

This last few years theres been a malaise when watching my beloved blues and I cant wait to see the players give a shit again. It means more to a fan than these players will ever know but Pep obviously gets it.

Bring it on.
 
I really enjoyed that interview. Pep certainly has an aura about him and a presence that is captivating.

I agree. Over the last 18 months i grew tired of MP telling anyone that would listen how we were an attacking team playing good football. This wasn't in line with what I was watching out on the pitch. I was genuinely bored watching us 90% of the time. Hopefully Pep will bring back the swagger of MPs 1st season but with a level of tactical nous MP clearly wasn't capable of.

Exactly the feeling here. I wasn't excited with Pellegrini because he just didn't have anything much to him no matter the results. When we won it was fine but when we lost it was awful because he never seemed to change or react and that rubbed off on the fans. He was a nice bloke but nice blokes are mostly boring and I think the players lost motivation under his lack of ideas.

Pep oozes personality and that is what most excites me, he is going to be someone who is indeed going to divide but at least there will never be a dull moment and his record speaks for itself.

Bit too much of Noel and not enough of a Pep talk for my tastes, would, have liked to have heard him speak a bit more, still, good to hear from him and I liked what I did hear.
 
Only f**king City fans could be talking about his departure, 2 days after he started, he said nothing of the sort in that interview, and yet yesterday talked about our youngsters 3, 4 or 5 years into the future.

Agree. I found myself shouting for Noel to shut the fuck up sometimes and let Pep speak.

I'm afraid I did too-Noel kept asking a question and then repeating himself and talking over Pep who was trying to answer. Not all bad though and some good and interesting stuff-when he did let him speak.
