Nolito is my prediction to be derby hero this Saturday.

Just the three assists for Nolito tonight, not bad, only played the 2nd half as well.

1-0 at halftime, Nolito on right after the break, finished 8-0.

Have we got a Spanish Craig Bellamy on our hands here?

Not the flashiest of players and not one of our marquee type signings, but the work this lad does for the team is tremendous.

Couple that with his 'in your face' attitude he must be a nightmare to defend against. Always in the refs ear as well, which I wouldn't normally condone but every other fucking club has one and we've been a bit 'soft', if you will, in that sense in recent seasons.

Definitely similarities there with Bellamy for me. Obviously Bellamy had more pace where Nolito has more power, but their attitude and commitment and all round temperament bare an obvious resemblance imo.

Seems to be a developing theme for him at the minute with starting off brilliantly and looking like one of our best players and a danger whenever he touches it but his influence on the game dwindles over time and isn't offering much other than the minimum Pep expects by around 60/70 minutes. Is it just coincidence or is it maybe defenders learning his game very quickly and getting the better of him ass the game progresses? Would like to see a more consistent 90 minutes from him soon.
