Joey Barton to Fleetwood on loan.

Shrewd move imo. With all the lower leagues' cup games, coupled with a lot of early in the season league games, his 12 match ban will be over by the end of October.
.

Is that the case? My take on the story was that he was just training with them for a while to get fit,as he's got mates at the club (and it keeps him away from QPR for a while where he hasn't got so many mates).

my read on it was that it was a loan move, and a very clever one too.

This info comes from my brother in law. His cousin is married to Fleetwood's CEO.

Could be bullshit but he is convinced it will happen."Allegedly" he has seen a text sent
by Barton himself, declaring he is up for the loan.

As I said, could be bullshit but posting in good faith.

apparently cazorla is hard pressed to get out of the bad malaga situation and is receptive to arsenal, would be a good pickup for them if this were to go through. guardian seems to be a reliable source continually on transfer speculation unlike all the other shit out there. if they were to add santi and somehow keep rvp their midfield/forwards would be in really good shape going into this season

Not sure if its been posted but Tim Cahill is apparently off to America for £1 million according to BBC's Twitter. Maybe we'll finally shake off the Everton bug once and for all, and he'll stop scoring in the north stand net!

New York Red Bulls are in talks according to SSN. They will always have other players ready to be a jinx to us. A decent player.

The BBC headline mentioned a New York Switch as opposed to a sale, maybe they are getting a player in return. How long did he have to run on his contract?

I think this was his last year of his Everton contract. No other player is involved, the MLS must of bought out his rights.
