North Manchester

I liked living in sale, it had good links into Manchester while being quite quiet, lots of green areas etc. I now live in rural cheshire and frankly I would not want an 'M' postcode if you paid me-living in any city or satellite towns around them is dull and frankly beneath me now.

However, south Manchester is far more affluent, has more business opportunities, have better school and less crime.

Unfortunately you didn't go to one.
Less crime? Have you been to Wythenshawe recently? The burglary rate in Chorlton and Didsbury is through the roof. The bars in Chorlton are regularly 'done' by armed robbers. South Manchester is no Garden of Eden.

Liam I live in a village called Over Peover, I still work in Manchester 4 days a week, I normally get the train (crewe line) which gets me to Piccadilly in 30 mins-pretty reliable, I know there are a lot of advantages to city living but I also get a lot of pleasure living here too.

Jealousy?? what are you talking about? I live in rural Cheshire (very near you, actually), I've gradually moved South from North Manchester over a period of 15 yrs. I'm very happy and don't feel the need to brag on a forum to a bunch of strangers. Good luck to you, I know all about hard work thank you very much.
