Not sure it actually would have, in all fairness!Thought of the day…. if the job was done non-stop 24/7 then it would be finished by now. Lazy fuckers! :-)

Even if there was, can't do things out of sequence. And only so much big stuff can be delivered to site at a time, and stored there, and moved, etc. There isn't enough construction workers to do that

Used to love PTFE.Now the new NS roof is nearing some sort of completion, bar the sky walk sections, when do you think work will start on the fan zone ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) roof?
Poly tetra flara evetherlene. Probably spelt it wrong but get the gist. :-)Used to love PTFE.
Do get a fuxking life. The sails on the side of the hotel overlooking the new City Square stop a lot higher than the sails on the other side of the hotel.
I know there’s a roof to go on the City Square, but even so I don’t think it’s as high as where the sails currently stop?
Are there more sails to be added along the bottom or does the roof go that high? The effect of the sails is in the scale of the design - seems to lose a bit of impact if sails don’t cover the whole side?
Theyve done a tremendous amount of work in the last few days on the roofi saw cp overview 20 mins ago, and looking at roof i dont think it will be done for spurs, its took over 3 weeks to get where it is so another 6 days isnt going to go far
No, they're where they should be and shows how high the City Square roof is, and that's just where it's attached as it has quite an arc to it. You can see the mounting points for the 3 big screens that are attached to the outside of City Hall facing into City Square on the video. They're entirely under the ETFE roof. The sails on the side of the hotel overlooking the new City Square stop a lot higher than the sails on the other side of the hotel.

Are you the "Prophet of Dooms" father !!Oh look somebody has cleaned the Metrolink Station roof and removed the sheep pen barriers.
That will lead to a bit of a free for all after the game though.
With the roof being that high everybody will get pissed wet through when the rain is belting it down and the wind is blowing it horizontal.
Lol, tbf I have wondered the same myself, along with the 2 big openings under the hotel and the commercial building it could be a bit of a wind tunnel. Are you the "Prophet of Dooms" father !!
That Sky walk is looking even more scary in that rendering. Not for me.
I am not 100 percent sure but I think the sky walk that we have all seen is still subject to changes or planning permission? That Sky walk is looking even more scary in that rendering. Not for me.
