If the club built a new stadium today it would be it would look dated in twenty years time. So are you suggesting we build a new stadium every twenty years? As wonderful as many will think this development is, I my opinion, it's a bloody monstrosity. We've seen from the Rags, that simply bolting on additions to an already basic construction, will never produce anything that is either aesthetically pleasing or remotely functional. Just trying to get out of that new stand if your are sat at the rear and centre of the aisle will probably be at least 15 to 20 minutes! Just that shit design alone will further exacerbate fans saying 'sod that' and leaving early rather than getting stuck in that queue.
If they were in any way serious about the fan experience, and complete new stadium should have been built to rival the Allianz, but this is purely around monetising every seat in what is fast becoming Old Scaffold Mk2. And if you disagree, then ask yourself how, if it looks dated now, is it going to look in 2040 and beyond.
Top level. The one below is the hotel bedrooms/suites on matchdays. Is the restaurant going within the top level of the new stand or the one below ?

I think the San Siro is worse than the Etihad exterior, but I agree that the club as built a money making machineThe San Siro might be decrepit, and it would cost too much to redevelop it, but it still looks great. Not all stadiums end up looking dated. In a football business sense it is no longer fit for purpose.

The Etihad and North stand expansions have divided opinion, but it is now a money making machine, that will sustain the club and the team.

Nobody’s snorting anything off those surfaces that’s for sure!San Siro is an old run down stadium not fit for the modern day. Seen a few vids and photos on the facilities and how bad they are.

And that will be where the atalanta fans probably brought covid to Milan when they played usNobody’s snorting anything off those surfaces that’s for sure!

The San Siro has 3 sides (as in the photo ) that are equal height , but from memory the 4th side is lower ( or it was when I visited some years ago ) a bit like the Cardiff rugby stadium .The inside of the San Siro is still my favourite typ of design, love it all been equal height, corners are looking uniformed etc.
No, the darker concrete at top left is higher for some reason, it's the sun causing dark shadows at the junction that make it look worse. At least that's how I read it.Preparing the area to be tarmacked/paved/resurfaced??
Is that a long crack across the ground?
