North Stand Construction Discussion

Danny Wilson and the club will only see and speak to 1894 and other City fan groups when they want to. They won't be pushed into doing anything they don't want to do. Danny Wilson will be reading the thread and the comments in it. We all have a good idea of how the club works. The meeting will happen. No point in getting worked up about it. Guessing. I expect a bit of movement by the club on certain issues regarding the fans and the North stand expansion, but not much. I could be wrong on that, but I doubt I am. The opening of the stand is 2 years away at a least, so there is plenty of time for meetings and discussions with the club, whether those discussions come to anything or not? For now enjoy the construction of the North stand. :-
Isn’t this the Macclesfield bus thread

@Keeper! Listen to this from all members of the 1894 from an Ian Cheesman Podcast from May

You simply won't accept that a lot of fans do want some sort of special ticket that could include some sort of private bar. The same fans also want to sit with regular fans and will sing and create just as much atmosphere as GA fans.

That's just the reality of modern sport.

And "demanding" meetings with club officials when the stand is two years away from opening and the details will be subject to change is just too much in my opinion.

Ian Cheesman is a decent man and blue but he does not represent the majority of our fan base.

Is there any evidence of this at the Etihad?

I’ve sat in several hospitality areas including the ‘premium seat’ 93:20 and they are definitely quieter than even the average block, never mind the main singing areas like SSL1 or the back of SSL3.

After relocating to SSL3 on Saturday for the Fulham match as a one off, I have a very good idea what the expand NSL2 will be like. It won't be a proper home end.

There is no evidence to say what the actual intentions of the club is on this matter, hardly surprising when construction on the actual stand has not started and won't even open for another 2 seasons. Add to that "subject to change" , so no one is in a position to demand meeting with club officials.
