I was wondering what you will do when our expansion and others are finished as there won't be many more in the pipeline until I realised you'll be busy for years flying over the £2 billion plus Wembley of the North that will be constructed near Manchester.....

Pad out the gap with a couple of tubes of silicone is usually my go to solution for alignment issues

you a cowboy upvc window fitter? I've seen some right bodge jobs over the years by those guys!

Just pack and bolt with steel shims and longer fish plates, if approved by the structual enginner

Is probably the correct answer but a lot quicker with the silicone

They will need to put a bearing plate in between the columns otherwise there is no bearing. Then new plates will most likely be needed to join the columns as that’s a huge gap.
