Hopefully some good will come of this shit run and the club will realise they need the loyal fans that have been here in good times and bad. Because a lot of this new brigade are going to fck off shortly.
I also think not selling out for the liked of tonight's game should focus minds over ticket prices.Hopefully some good will come of this shit run and the club will realise they need the loyal fans that have been here in good times and bad. American sports clubs of course, famed, for their lack of hospitality seatsEven clubs in their own groups are getting a blue-wall look at NYCFC blue wall , I bet there is no GA+ section in the middle of that

It is the main design document that most of the shares here have been taken out of over the course of the thread.@Coatigan can you please link to the document which has all the fantastic isometric views? (As detailed on page 188 of your previous reply)
I've trawled through all the planning documents on the Manchester City Council planning portal but can't find it anywhere.
I'm talking about the perimeter around the outside of the North stand, it was chokka behind the stage with fans trying to walk through in opposite directions before and after the game and when they build the tunnel it's going to be a nightmare.

B) there very much is a premium section, bang in the middle of that, where it cuts the N in half. They even have super premium there, where 6-10 people can book their own private bar for extra, as below.

While I'm no expert where civil engineering is concerned, I suspect that the spiral staircases are not only a means of access and egress but vital to the structural integrity of the build. If so, they're a permanent fixture. Even if I'm way off the mark, I can't see the club investing heavily simply in an attempt to improve the stadium's visual impact. I completely agree though that the aesthetics of the stadium leave a lot to be desired. Perhaps the way to go would be a colourful 'wrap' with a view to escaping the drab 1970's car park chic look. Joking aside though, I still believe it holds up well in comparison to the vast majority of football stadia. On my way into the ground on Saturday I heard a couple of Spurs fans taking the piss out of the spiral staircase entrances. Personally I love the design of the Etihad, but it did get me thinking, from an objective point of view could the spirals be improved upon?
They didn't age very well and quickly became dirty and weatherbeaten. The club did something about that by putting banners up over them, which I can understand some may think looks a bit cheap or naff.
Interested in other people's thoughts and any potential constructive ideas for how might get them up to the standard of the rest of the ground?
Led wrap them, moving adverts, would look really good and another cash generator. On my way into the ground on Saturday I heard a couple of Spurs fans taking the piss out of the spiral staircase entrances. I'm honestly starting to believe this guy is on the fuckin wind-up, every post is how much better every other fuckin stadium around the world do things to ours.Even clubs in their own groups are getting a blue-wall look at NYCFC blue wall , I bet there is no GA+ section in the middle of that

You can see the stadium from miles away, it would be a huge landmark and would earn us a fortune.Thats a good shout about the LED wrap. Would make a big difference. I'd prefer advert free, but cash is king as they used to say.
