A mate of mine worked on the Everton stadium before leaving Laing O'Rourke. He understands it's "behind, but going well".
He said the truss lifts at BMD with a tandem lift were impressive.

You are probably aware but they are always tethered by a safety line

yep but that wouldn't stop you ending up dangling like a conker on a string at great height if you slipped...

Just done a bit of research into annual rainfall , Manchester is not in the top 20 but Stockport is ? Go figure ?? About as wierd as dual zone aircon in a car

Reminds me of seeing the 'nuclear free zone' sign near McVities travelling from Stockport.

I always felt remarkably safe knowing that an atomic bomb wouldn't have any effect on me when I reached Levenshulme.
