North Stand Construction Discussion

They're at that stage now? Ready for the new roof?

The new roof is already on, well a large chunk of it. Just got to finish adding the panels and put the front part of the beams on.

They’ll start removing the old roof as soon as the season finishes. According to some on here it sounds like they’ll start taking the panelling off before the Bournemouth game.

Cheers. Obviously, I haven't noticed it.

CP & SS.

A really good drone shot would be from the back of the CFA where the small grey arrow shaped storage building is located. You'll get the CFA, the Joie stadium, and the Etihad stadium all lined up in a row.(as shown in the picture) It's easy to drive around the CFA site, and to park up around there. There's a small grassy hill which is a decent vantage point, if my memory serves me well? When the CFA was being constructed I took quite a few pictures from that location.

PS. APS use a plane when taking aerial pictures.
I’m sure the CFA building were intentionally lined-up in such a way from the ground maintenance building onwards towards the stadium

As a complete layman on this I'm a bit surprised they haven't craned the seats and safe standing stuff up there before they start filling the roof in.
Looks more difficult to get everything up there now but sure they know what they are doing
Interested in any views on this.

I would imagine they would want the work area clear to finish off the roof.

Cracking on during the good weather and light Summer evenings. A great time to catch up if Sisk are behind schedule on construction?
My guess is the same , time is money and if they want it open sooner I guess working late is the way to achieve that

Jrb you wouldn't have a postcode for that location or road name and I can try and do that. Cheers
