I wasn't there. But no not really, it actually goes very much in hand with what you said Sisk said.Dispite what Sisk said
In the sense they need the maneuvering space to install the tension rods and can't build the link before that.

You trust what those pesky Irish tell you? They'd try to convince you that the Pope is an orange man.Dispite what Sisk said
My impression from what they said was, it was a structural thing no mention of manoeuvring, it was during the section when they talked about the cablenet and the new roof, bringing in the expert who was listening to the cablesI wasn't there. Ah, I didn't take that from what you previously said, but could well be lost in the summising, thanks for clarifying. As I said I wasn't there. My impression from what they said was, it was a structural thing no mention of manoeuvring, it was during the section when they talked about the cablenet and the new roof, bringing in the expert who was listening to the cables
Maybe one of the others who attended could clarify
Just as an aside (not related to this point which I already clarified what I meant), not everything Sisk say has to be true.Dispite what Sisk said
I must admit it makes me a tad nervous that we’re relying on an elderly Portuguese with a tuning fork to confirm if the entire stadium roof is going to collapse……but I guess they know what they’re doing! My impression from what they said was, it was a structural thing no mention of manoeuvring, it was during the section when they talked about the cablenet and the new roof, bringing in the expert who was listening to the cables

If I'd read that before, I would've been nervous about sitting in the family stand during construction.News feed on my blower came up with this last night

The football season may be drawing to a close for Manchester City Football Club, but inside the Etihad Stadium, a new challenge is on the horizon. Sincewww.constructionnews.co.uk
I don’t know why the Bournemouth match couldn’t have been scheduled earlier. I know Uefa insist no PL fixtures during Champions League weeks but surely they could have played it on Tuesday 13th. Not ideal with the Final on Saturday but it would have given Sisk an extra week.
Sisk we're actually pushing for the week before the timescales are extremely tight. Hence why they'll be working double and triple shifts.Because the final is more important than a stand that won’t be finished until 2026.
Sisk will be fine with the timescales and there will be no issues.

As a City fan though I'm glad they went with the 20th.
They are using the player's tunnel to transport sections of the roof? I take it they have never been to the ground and missed the large access tunnel that fire engines can get through in the NW corner.News feed on my blower came up with this last night

Took me a couple of minutes to realise the picture is the south stand too. They are using the player's tunnel to transport sections of the roof? I take it they have never been to the ground and missed the large access tunnel that fire engines can get through in the NW corner.

If they don’t get the old roof off and pitch ready before the start of next season, for whatever reason, it is arguably more important than winning the FA Cup, financially at leastBecause the final is more important than a stand that won’t be finished until 2026.

Relax it'll work out okay. I'm struggling with how the old roof coming off is more important than an FA cup win.If they don’t get the old roof off and pitch ready before the start of next season, for whatever reason, it is arguably more important than winning the FA Cup, financially at least
