Think I got this from Dortmund as this was why the “yellow wall” held so many fans ! If they don’t increase capacity seem pretty pointless to me , maybe cos I’m an old fart ! ;-)

Different occupancy limits in germany I think.

But no the rail seats don't increase capacity. The arguement is they increase atmosphere. But at the end of the day each one is still one seat and one fan.

Have they said how the ticketing will work with it opening mid season? Will it just be open sale or will season ticket holders relocate?

Again hard to believe the krauts can do it but we can’t , they ( and continentals in general) still have a bigger hooligan problem than the UK !! Suppose we can blame the bin dippers for all this ;-)

In the UK it's kept at 1:1 for safety reasons. Without the rail, fans are not supposed to stand. It's nothing to do with hooligans really.

I forgot that lower tier was below the ground level outside

Like at the SoFi stadium in LA where the pitch is 100ft below ground level as the stadium is on the flight path of LAX

I just upload the photo on here as I took it but because I am on iPhone I change the size to large as otherwise it won’t upload.

Nothing confirmed yet…

Whilst the seating configuration of the stand is yet to be finalised, we can confirm that it will be predominantly GA seating and that the majority of the additional GA seating capacity will be held by Season Ticket Members, through the release of new Season Tickets.​

There is a difference between rail seats and safe standing. Safe standing can increase capacity and is allowed in Germany but not here. For safe standing the seats are secure in the upright position, you do not have the option to sit but more people fit in the stand. Easily converted back to rail seats when required. Hopefully this will happen here soon.

Thanks "HelloCity" it was a weird flight as the controller was different to what I was used to and was trying to test some features, shows the roof at a different angle on the southstand.

The plan was to have a screen in each corner some while back but it might have changed think the SE corner has the Ardwick Pub seating
