North Stand Construction Discussion

We often talk about poor acoustics on the atmosphere threads. As someone who hasn’t closely followed progress until recently, was this factored in the design of the new stand?

Looking at the shape of the roof on yesterday’s video the it seems to initially tilt downwards from the back. Could that be anything to do with acoustics? (Please bear in mind I know nothing about construction or acoustics!)
The ap docs have specific reference to this yes Screenshot_2025-07-01_1234.png

Just noticed why there’s two tunnels at either end. They’ve been designed so the stands could be joined together in the future as the tops are on the same level as level 3 of the CB and E stands.

They’re disabled bays.

Think the gradient of the east and west is a bit steeper than the north stand upper tier.

Early morning look around today

Other south corner could be starting soon?
I see the side door open and with the other one that’s how it started

It's the first pieces of the walkway which will take people from under the roof and to the base of the north west tower

That has been there since before the actual supports. It was the bracing piece that the piers connected to for two points of contact.

You are right that it is a piece of the walkway, but it isn't new, it has only been unhidden by the scaffolding thatbwas built on top of it being removed.
