Please try and get a shot on the west side of them closing the gap between the NS and Colin Bell Stand roofs.

Seen guys working on that section today HelloCity sorting video now, so hopefully on in 90mins

This guy is competing with Mr Drone for biggest knob. He only does videos once a month so doesn't have a clue what's going on (which to his credit he admits). Classic comment: "It looks like the pitch has been covered - there must have been some sort of concert on it".

Fair play to them.

It's already been confirmed the club are doing test events in January to get the safety certificate so you're looking at February before it opens.

The hotel and fanzone open next summer

Is that definite on the fanzone? I was hoping it would be open earlier as it would be less work than doing the whole hotel?

Wishful thinking from my side maybe/probably. I'm just really looking forward to it opening and having a meeting spot by the groud like city square again

The construction teams won't be super enthusiastic about doing a hotel fit out next to a working fanzone you would have thought

The hotel is scheduled ahead of the commercial arm anyway, that will have to be completed before the fanzone can get sorted.

That’s not as has been previously reported as the shop / museum was due for completion first as it’s a much simpler build ??

Pretty sure that's not correct (although not 100%).

From the planning proposal all 3 were originally at least, scheduled for completion at the same time (unless City Square isn't what I think it is):-

"The hotel, workspace and public realm works, including City Square, are targeted to subsequently complete by mid-2026."

That said it says the north stand itself should be ready for August 2025 and that's not happening.

I agree, the whole fanzone thing cannot begin until all construction work is completed..

I'm still not convinced the scaffold in the SW corner suggests there's a 4th screen going up there. Opinion on here seems divided - is there anyone actually ITK or does someone want to create a poll so that when we find out, the "I told you so" brigade can feel smug?

The fact that there is rebar on the floor suggests that they are doing a concrete floor

city one I don't will be secured on ? all the render I have seen it doesn't have a edge with no fences like spurs , the north stand renders makes it look like its fenced the walkways .
