I see they said that there is the potential to increase the amount of "rail seats" from the initial 3,000, should there be further demand. Does anyone know if that demand has materialised?
 
How is the stand being filled? I mean in terms of Season Tickets versus paid admission versus corporate? Has anything been mentioned?

The club has never asked.

No surveys or anything since the original which was prior to their demand statement.

Disappointingly churlish comment, we're blues on here supposed to be supporting the club - where do you build a new stadium and what does 'future proofed' even mean?
 
The safe standing seat bars are almost to the bottom of the new tier. Unless it’s only for the sides of the new tier. And the centre of the tier stays safe standing at the back and normal seating from the upper middle downwards. Remember, we haven’t been told by the club what the safe standing and seating configuration will be for the tier.

Don’t get too excited just yet, but I wonder if the new tier will be mostly safe standing? We’ll find out when the middle safe standing seats are installed.

It looks promising.

We have to wait for the middle safe standing seats to go in before we know for sure if the majority of the new tier will be safe standing seats. I’m not getting my hopes up just yet.
 
Some close up shots from ss skies ,
Guttering system for the water drainage now clearly visible at the edge of the new roof , the other south corner has had walls demolished ready for new bar , and the back of the north stand looks like loads of blue seats ready to be fitted .

Think it's about 10 rows across the top section.

In the middle of the tier?

I didn't expect safe standing seats to go almost all the way down the sides.

However, I did say that could happen when we were discussing safe standing on the new tier.

Safe standing seats down both sides of the stand, and safe standing seats at the back of the middle of the stand?

Yeah, the safe standing plan was for the two end blocks and then the top few rows across the back - forming an 'n' shape of sorts.

Who knows, maybe based on feedback they'll add more in now and bring it further down across the central blocks?

That would look amazing if they brought it all the way down to the back of the existing level 2.

Safe standing puts me off getting a seat anywhere in the new north stand as won’t get a good view if everyone stood up

I seem to remember a marked up plan for the safe standing and it was either side an top back in front of the hotel suite balconies but will stand corrected :-)

I'm thinking that if they started off where we expected them to be, then they'll stick to the 'N' shape, for now at least. Hopefully I'm wrong in that though.

It looks like the very back row/step doesn't have any seats/rails in them. I wonder if so, is that just going to be the corners to avoid line of sight issues?
