North Stand Construction Discussion

This is a bit of a trial with a 360 camera hung from the drone.
You can move the screen around and look where you like.
No commentary just music at the moment as cant figure out how to get a voice on it.
Quality may not be the best, its still very early days with this

Looks good and worth pursuing.
Found the rotors distracting at times, like you said the quality isn't as good
I suspect that the frame rate is less than normal
Certainly would be great for wedding videos and house sales

Pan the camera up and you can watch the done in action.
The weirdest thing is that you can't see how the camera is attached (or at least I can't). Is it really magic?

There is a ripple in space & time you can see, parallel to the tram lines at the start so perhaps it really is magic? "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"

I've seen the 3D fixed images which always seemed a bit "so what" but this is cool. I was cursing him initially for not getting a viewpoint I wanted until I remembered that I could change it :)

Excellent and really enjoyed. Great potential.
Watched on PC with widescreen monitor for maximum benefit.

I both enjoyed the rotors and also a bit distracting as well.
Tilting down a bit to elimate them mainly worked but without compromising all round view.

Them new blue seats are gonna look a different shad to the lower ones? Get the fucking blow torch out asap!

Sorry, I meant the stand itself.

And I thought it was later than that for the final bit.
March is currently right for the full stand, seating could probably be released anytime from late October, I think they might open it when its all complete now though unless we are building up big demand.

When did it shift to March out of interest. I kinda missed that.

Don't think it will have been officially announced. But that's the current programme.

If handover goes as late as March, would they really fill the stand with only a month or so of the season left? Or just open it fully for the start of next season.

Would make more sense to do the test events in the summer and then make 100% sure its perfect for next season if thats the case?

Potentially 10 home games from march onwards, that's quite a lot of revenue to turn down if its all fully finished.
City originally wanted to open a lot earlier with limited back of house.

Is there? I count 4. Maybe for tests etc richards suggests, but presumably would be hard to sell as season tickets this season.

If I'm honest, not seeing anything yet that says thay can't still open for January, so I'll by all means take your comment for granted, but will be hopefully optimistic for early in the year.
