I’m not sure what the MEN Arena bombing has to do with the transport issues.I really hope they are not "waiting to see" how the facilities work out. They should have robust plans in place and this should have been done five years ago. The North Stand expansion should be happening in the next couple of months so everything should be in place by now. It is pretty obvious that the safety of football fans is given a low priority in the UK. The buck stops with Burnham for transport in this region and he doesn't seem to give a toss. Have people already forgotten what happened at the MEN arena?
I just want to get home ASAP after a match.I’m not sure what the MEN Arena bombing has to do with the transport issues.
The North Stand development has temporarily taken away the post-match activities in City Square and I for one can’t wait until the hoardings around the building sites are finally taken down as it’s grim leaving the match at the moment. The new facilities will be much better for our climate, hopefully, and should help spread out the number of people leaving the site. This will be part of the plan.
But then again I try to be positive about this sort of thing.
Many do and hopefully if a good few hundred decide to stay behind for 30 minutes instead of rushing for the tram then maybe it’ll be better for everyone.I just want to get home ASAP after a match.
For an 8pm kick off I don’t think they will have many takers. Many do and hopefully if a good few hundred decide to stay behind for 30 minutes instead of rushing for the tram then maybe it’ll be better for everyone.

Looks like metal?
What’s the angled metal piece leaning on the small square section?
It's been covered in metal all along, it is where the junction of old to new is. They seem to have marked out the seat positions now. The triangular bit has been there a while too. Wonder if it is where the pivoting props were fixed, hard to tell.
On the same basis the Etihad has got two lines.Old Trafford is served by five different lines taking people all over Greater Manchester. The Etihad has one line.
