The window was broken. Saw it smashed the other week. And tiny. Rather not have it at all tbh.
Can you imagine a badge so small it would fit your average semi box bedroom!!

That window is about 2.5 m x 2.5m so I doubt any box bedroom would have a window that size ! ;-)The window was broken. Saw it smashed the other week.

Just seems a bit of a coincidence...Breakages don't discriminate.
Just seems a bit of a coincidence...
City Square largely accommodated everyone who wanted to go there whereas if, as seems, Medlock Square is significantly smaller then it will not do so. I do not see how from a fans perspective that can be regarded as some sort of triumph. If Medlock Square was slightly smaller and covered then fair enough, but if its significantly smaller then I think we're being deceived by the architect

That is verging on hyperbole. The stadium is around a mile from Piccadilly Station. Your comments on Metrolink only really apply at certain times. You can usually avoid congestion if you travel out early or immediately before the match.Andy Burnham was repeatedly warned about imminent pressures with Co-op Live and development at the campus. He did nothing. The area has new schools, houses, an arena, a 60,000 stadium. The parking has been restricted and the trunk road capacity reduced. There is dangerous overcrowding on the Metrolink. Now Holt Town is being developed. Walking back to Picadilly at night is not an option for young families or people with health issues. It is a disgrace. There can’t be any other large stadium in Europe with such poor transport.
They have been stopping cars leaving the car parks recently even straight after the whistle it’s a nightmare and oddly targets people who have no choice and use official car parkingThat is verging on hyperbole. I found the Spurs Stadium an absolute pain to get to from South London. It’s on the Overground and I was struggling to get there from another branch of the Overground.
How about Istanbul if we are talking about nightmare journey?
I hate to tell you that no City will build a state-of-the-art rapid transit system to take people there and back, a mile or two, over a three to four hour spell, 25 to 30 times a year (around 0.4% of the time).
Medlock Square has a capacity of 3,000 and it is covered. It will be a much more useable space, all year round, especially in the Manchester weather. From a fans perspective it will be more appealing than City Square. That was a forerunner in English football. Medlock Square will take it to the next level.
City fans will also have the options of the Co-Op Live plus outlets around the stadium.
Others can exercise their preference to go to Mary D`s, the pubs in the surrounding areas, the walkable city centre, Ancoats and so on.
There is no spin, only probably from a luddite. City are providing superb facilities.
The majority of fans will be very pleased. They have managed during the construction process. Those that want an alternative can easily find one.
It is difficult to understand your premature conclusions.
The Platt Lane, Swales and Bullens are irrelevant to the 21st century and a development by the same company that designed Spurs stadium.
Footfall during the week is crucial. Yes, the facilities are aimed at all year round use. Surely that makes a lot of sense.
Some fans loved City Square on a sunny day when there was a decent band on and sometimes special guests. Others didn`t. On a wet day / night it was not much fun. It certainly did not lead to a bouncing collective ready to march into the stadium and roar the team on.
The ticketing strategy is being reviewed and has not been announced.
Very few fans that I know are disconnected. Most are entirely connected. Most recognise and understand that City are now amongst the very best on world football. There are some elements at every club who are less than happy. That will always be the case.
The new North Stand will be large,on one level, visually impressive, dominant and acoustically the best stand in the stadium.
Utter nonsense.
You don’t have enough knowledge or understanding to be making such comments.
Why's it utter nonsense? - do enlighten me with your all encompassing knowledge and understanding.
City Square as it was not a strictly defined area effectively had spare capacity - how often were fans turned away from City Square due to it being full?
Presumably this Medlock Square will be ticketed with a drinks voucher on arrival like COOP live and I expect, certainly at the start, when it's being fully promoted for it to be sold out beforehand. Inevitably some fans will book tickets and not attend either for a wish to guarantee their place or change of plans.
So on a sunny day a better meeting point for me is somewhere that you can turn up on spec with whoever and gain entry rather than a place where you have to book tickets 3 weeks in advance for every member of the group. I don't think people should unquestioningly accept something is an improvement just because they are told it is.
I didn't particularly want to go deeply into this issue but it's not often you encounter the font of all knowledge on a thread. The most important issue for me with the new stand is that there is an affordable pricing strategy for the local fanbase so it doesn't turn into the Never Full In Midweek Stand
Dunning-Kruger effect, or is it ‘old man yells at cloud’?
We’re going to have the best fan zone in European football - that’s a fact.
Of course it will be busier early on and they’ll have to manage it somehow, but after a few games it will end up being made up of the regulars just as it was before - except this time they won’t be getting pissed wet through and they’ll be getting some decent food and drink.

It's been said on here that it will be the same size as box park Wembley - so how is it a fact that it's the best fanzone in Europe?

And why would it only have a capacity of 3,000 if it's the best fanzone in Europe?
What are you even angry about?
Just wait and see how it is.

That would be amazing.
