City should have left the covers off the seats today and flooded the steps leading up to the new tier with stewards. It would have looked awesome on live TV with a worldwide TV audience into the 100’s of millions watching the match.
I know several families who have got season cards together in the last two seasons.
I don’t tell people how to spend their money and we are lucky that Manchester is synonymous with democracy. That said, you might want to maximise your chances of getting tickets together for games. I have no inside info but there was talk of 1894 and Supporters Club members having a brief ticket priority window so you could join them. That’s no guarantee of joy and fans groups won’t be sure what City are offering until the next City Matters meeting.
I don’t mind you having a pop at me but I do spend hours most weeks helping friends and families get tickets together. Recent examples being the League Cup final and the semi final vs Southampton.

A massive block of 8k empty seats on show…City should have left the covers off the seats today and flooded the steps leading up to the new tier with stewards. It would have looked awesome on live TV with a worldwide TV audience into the 100’s of millions watching the match.
The covers have sponsers on so likely contractual too.A massive block of 8k empty seats on show…
We've got one of the highest percentage of ST's in the league do we not? Besides putting non-renewals back in to circulation and the 500 released at the start of this season(?) they've only had the chance to release more when the South stand got released (can't remember how many or if). The upcoming 4,000+ will only add to that, I don't think you'll have an issue TBH.Apologies if you think I was but I wasnt having a pop at you.
My lad has been to games through you in the past so I'm aware of what you do.
I'm just really frustrated that I have a 15 year old local kid thats obsessed by the club and desperate to go to more games that probably wont ever have a chance at a season ticket.
When I got mine 25 years ago, I applied and got one straight away despite having not lived in the UK for a decade.
This year I've given up most of my tickets, including today, with the purpose of bumping up his numbers (hes gone to dozens of matches over the last 10 years but many not in his name). So much so that the club probably wont let me keep my season ticket next year.
But he wont come close to 35 in his name over the past 3 years.
We've gone years now with no (or very few) new season tickets. Last year when they released single match tickets at once I sat in a queue for hours and didnt get one single match. Annoying but I had hoped that the new stand would finally give us a chance. Doesnt seem like it.
Maybe a bit of perspective why people are talking about walking away.
The criteria will go down much lower than that. Last year the junior criteria was also less than the adult criteria. And I believe the criteria was lower again if the junior was connected to an adult STH.But he wont come close to 35 in his name over the past 3 years.
I hope you and your lad get season cards together. I think there’s going to be quite a bit of availability over the next year or two.Apologies if you think I was but I wasnt having a pop at you.

Can’t think of anything more which would benefit the club than showing off a giant new block of empty seats.
Have they forgotten about that cladding on the East side of the top tier?

Just noticed the seats don’t come with the numbers on when installed , who’s going to do all that ?
