Like most of you I am genuinely excited about seeing the new North stand and the new L2 tier open.

I’m sleeping over outside the ticket office to be first in line. Could beat the Wembley 99 queue.

It wouldn’t surprised me if there is the walking man queue or the OS crashes.

Somehow we’ve got to get CP/CC and SS a ticket each.

They deserve to see the North stand.

People are far more likely to go if they charge a fee, so makes sense for them to charge. They certainly won't be making any money, in fact they'll probably be losing.

City need 3500 people/fans to turn up. I suspect it will be over subscribed and the 3500 target will be reached.

Yes I appreciate costs are involved , but it’s in my mind petty for 15 k considering we pay haaland 500 k per week ??

You've ignored the first part - which is the most important. If we don't get 3500 the Test event fails. If people are paying a fiver they are far more likely to go than those who haven't paid.

Because that's ridiculous, and not required, what's needed is people who want to go to the event by charging a fiver City are more likely to get that.

It’s probably to stop people just getting free tickets for the sake of it and then not turning up.
