It wouldn’t surprised me if there is the walking man queue or the OS crashes.

Somehow we’ve got to get CP/CC and SS a ticket each.

They deserve to see the North stand.

I'd love to see it from inside, it's been amazing to capture.

City need 3500 people/fans to turn up. I suspect it will be over subscribed and the 3500 target will be reached.

Having planned events in the past they'll probably be about 4.2k (60%) available knowing that people will buy tickets but then drop out

I misunderstood. A fiver is still a bargain for what is on offer, and they are making it exclusive to season ticket holders. I don't see the issue.

If you pay £5 and get an alcoholic drink and a snack your definitely being paid to attend

You do know that beer isn't free , and you need to pay the person who pours it + whatever snack is

The fiver just allows them to get a better handle on how many people will attend. If it was free people would just claim the tickets regardless of whether they were going or not. A fiver is a sort of commitment.

Also if you are getting a free pint and some food they are practically paying you to attend. A pint is about £6.10 normally

They probably won't they'll be paying staff to put this on so it's definitely not a money maker

There will be car park attendants, bar and catering staff, and stewards all needing to be paid and then cleaning staff to tidy up after the event. If you don't want to pay £5 you don't have to go.

Is it normal for them to charge for a test event ?? Bit fekkin cheeky in my opinion ;-)

A ticket includes a free food item and a soft drink or alcoholic beverage, which - unlike on a typical Men's matchday - can be enjoyed from seats within the stadium bowl.

It’s probably to stop being just getting free tickets for the sake of it and then not turning up.

I have just got back from a meet up/event that we organised which included free booze and food. We “sold” 80 free tickets online on Eventbrite and 31 ticket holders didn’t turn up.

A pint of Asahi with a season ticket discount is £5,22. So City are 22p down, without free food and all the other things City are putting on.

I know I had a reputation as a moaner ;-), but I can’t believe people are moaning about a £5 ticket charge for one of the biggest events many of us have been waiting for and discussing for YEARS.
