I don’t know.When was this? Didn’t see it advertised
Ok , surprised it wasn’t advertised to the local residents groupI don’t know.
It was one of the pre-Wednesday main test events.
It wasn’t advertised.
It was probably for City staff, construction site workers, and local residents only?
I’m just guessing.Ok , surprised it wasn’t advertised to the local residents group
(I didn’t see it mentioned)
No could guess they might get them installed in the summer ready for start of season as most of the complex will be in the final stages by then the hotel is taking booking as early as 21st Septemberanyone know when the big screens on the ends of the buildings will be finished?
Surely that is the least of their priorities. It has been a difficult winter with a lot of rain and storms, so if they get the stand open for Sunday it will be a good result. Peripheral money spinners will evolve, my guess is the priority once the season ends is to get the Medlock Square finished and some of the commercial buildings open before next season to maximise revenue. The roof walk might be held back as a result, but my guess it will probably not be open until Spring 2027. But it is just my thinking. No sign of the roof top walk, has it been abandoned?
The commercial building shows no sign of been fitted out by anyone so I assume they have not been let yet.Peripheral money spinners will evolve, my guess is the priority once the season ends is to get the Medlock Square finished and some of the commercial buildings open before next season to maximise revenue.
I think it was for people who worked on it and family members (maybe City staff too).Ok , surprised it wasn’t advertised to the local residents group

Reminder of the scale of the third tier design (south stand) vs the new 2 tier north stand design.

Wasn't far off with my guesstimate of the city hall proportional seating!City Hall, Cross Bar, and Zadie’s hospitality shown and confirmed on the new stadium map.

The width might not be wide enough for both the seat and the person to be comfortable sat there ?I wonder why the seats don't (yet) go all the way to the edges of the new stand in some places? Picture credit @ssskies
