Excellent 1894. I wondered where you'd been mate

Been busy on other projects, but still checkin' in.

Hate getting involved in tedious "Who would you pick for the next game...." posts so I walk on by...

This is arguably the best thread on here. More later.

This track introduced me to Northern Soul......the group isn`t exactly NS....but the song is.

Funnily enough mate that is pretty much how it happened for me. No older brothers or sisters to get me into into so early DMR (Searching for the young soul rebels) was where I first came across Northern as well.

Here's another bona fide Northern soul track they covered very well.

Know what you mean....our kid was into heavy rock and long hair....But Dexy`s showed me whatelse there was. I loved the original album, and when they had that early split they weren`t the same. I even went to see the splinter group from DMR called "The Bureau" at Cavendish House, the old Manchester Poly student union bar. It was my birthday and they were playing support to a group called Nine Below Zero. The Bureau outplayed the main act.....Top night.
