Just been watching 'The Paul O'Grady Show' and he was reminiscing with Sharleen Spiteri about Northern Soul. Talked about Wigan casino, all-nighters, great dancers etc.

Paul's other guest Bruce Forsyth said 'Northern what ? Never heard of it'

This however, most definitely is. I'm not strong enough- The Four Perfections.

yea i see now where you are coming from... couldnt get back into bluemoon last night was kicked out just after i posted my post...

yea didnt realise it was northern soul even tho thread title should have told me... pmsl... blame it on the wine... i listened to Hathaway for two hours last night... there is just something very special about his voice and how he expresses the feelings he sings about... for me there is no better singing soul... but still he doesnt sing northern soul...
