Worrying thing IMO was the attitude. Just didnt look motivated at all.

The players worked their socks off. It was poor application, not a lack of effort, in my opinion.

Yes just said the same in my analysis. This could be as disappointing as last season was magnificent. That centre back pairing just isn't good enough. The Laurel and Hardy of defenders. Zinchenko is looking like what he is, a midfield player shoehorned into left back and Walker is, well Walker. Just watching the first goal again, shocking and Ederson should have done better. The second goal they said our centre halves were all over the place and they were. Redknap is right for the third goal. Otamendi loses it and just throws his hands up, no effort to do anything until it's too late, absolutely criminal. I suspect Pep.is peeling the paint off the dressing room wall at the moment but unfortunately we are stuck with that centre back pairing for months. Terrifying.

Very true but our style of football today generated many chances to influence the result yet we mostly failed to even get our shots on target.
Norwich made the most of their chances.

Yeah. I think by average we create about double the chances on the goal so to score about 3-4 goals. It was rather conspicious how well Norwich managed to defend against us especially in the box.

Give over. We are a wonderful side but we have shot ourselves in the foot by questionable recruitment in the summer. Rodri is a good player now and may turn out to be a great player but did we really need another CDM with Fernandinho and a much improved Gundogan last season at No 6? Would that money not have been better spent on a CB after losing Vinny?

We lack leadership, communication, organisation, physicality, an aerially dominating cb and intelligence without him in the side/squad

Fact he was the first name on the team sheet in the run in last season yet we then let him go without anyone coming in of a similar ilk is mind numbingly stupid.

We didn't let him go,we wanted him to stay,i don't think we were prepared for him to go this summer
