Norwich City (A) - Post-Match Thread

Credit to Norwich as they really gave it a good go and were more on the front foot than some of the other supposed bigger teams......however we pretty much dominated them baring the first part of the first half when they were pressing like crazy.

Sterling was great and it was vintage Ferna as well.
Foden had a very good game and Zinchenko looked like he had been playing all season

Dias a bit sloppy in his passing at times which was a surprise.

Great to see the young lads coming on. Mcatee in particular looks like he is right at home in this team and could be on a Foden level for me from the bits ive seen of him.

Looking back at the pre match thread after the team had been announced, and the match thread during the opening half hour makes for an "interesting read". It's like some folk can't see what Pep's teams are capable of. Today's side was short at least 3 definite starters, we never got out of third gear (we didn't have to) and we got a comfortable 4-0 win. For every CL final shit show, there's 10 of these games. Have some faith in the bald frau Pep!

Seeing Pep tonight is too much to hope he wants to stay for a few more years ?. Regardless thank you players and coaches. And also tonight our support was great.
I can see him signing a new contract as you can the love for the he team and fans he has . He isn’t going anywhere

Reminds me of Zabba, not blessed with ‘skills’ but more than makes up for it with heart and desire.

This is such a bizarre view that most of our support and fans of other sides hold.

Zin is absolutely excellent from a technical point of view and has “skills” coming out of his ears. Wonderfully gifted player.
