Our geriatric manager has cost us. Again.

We will not make top 4 with this old fool in charge.

need a new manager in the summer and maybe another 1st million spent.

disgusted.

Thank fuck ive been so busy with work since the Chelsea game if this is the sort of shit that's been posted!

Fuck me!
Agree totally
I'm relatively new to the forum and I'm still trying to work out if there are some real buffoons out there or if some people just like being sarcastic or wumming. For the moment I'm still giving the benefit of the doubt because some posts can not be serious. Surely.

I thought we played ok against Norwich . It might not be a bad point come the end of the season .

When YaYa was down injured and the players were standing around looking worried did anyone else notice Joe Hart going round to a lot of the players as if he were giving them advice/encouragement? A hand on the shoulder and a few words.
Yep, I saw that. Was quite concerned at how down in the dumps Silva looked as Joe was talking to him. I gave Joe a mental pat on the back for maybe noticing that Silva needed a bit of a buck-up.

Can't understand why Dzeko is half asleep all the time as a professional footballer. A regulation tap in awaited him if he'd just had the sense to gamble on the low cross which was travelling almost as slow as him!!
I can't believe people still hope for better from him. He's wank

^^This

Complete bollox. It was a shit mishit shot that Edin had no chance of getting to.

We are badly missing Kun and just need to keep in contention until we have key players back. Hopefully another run out will see the Beast back to form and fitness by tomorrow night.

I wonder if the Shed End has a 70 page forum with many proclaiming that they should sack the manager?

Just a thought

This thread has been an embarrassment right the way through. Was expecting a large degree of flapping after the stalemate but the consistent doom and gloom has been staggering.

It's been a bit embarrassing to say the least

Football is emotional and can lead to normally rational people making knee-jerk statements, but I agree, to start calling for the new manager's head in the position we're in is absolutely ridiculous.

It's times like these that we all need to stand together. This is what being a supporter is about, its easy during the good times, but where it counts more is during blips and the bad times. Some of us need to get a grip.

I thought that once we won a few trophies people would stop flapping so much, like it would release the pressure of winning nothing in so long, but it only seems to be worse. Its pretty ugly really, like a spoilt child.

I get quite alarmed when posters respond to a disappointing result with two fairly predictable attitudes: the first is that the manager should be sacked and the second is along the lines that some of our players are "championship quality at best". They are both rubbish and, in February, irrelevant. I take the view that I took at the start of the season, and that is that our squad is the best in the PL. At the moment there is a problem of enforced absence through injury and in certain positions it is critical. There is an argument that against Chelsea the injuries proved decisive, but against Norwich they did not. I sat watching the game with mounting frustration because too many players were simply having an off day against the Canaries. It's the kind of thing we hope won't happen, but we all know it will at times. We simply hope we're good enough to win when it does! It looks as though we will have 2, 3 or 4 key players out against Barca and they will have their best team. This could be decisive, but it will still be bad luck. Barca can beat anyone on their day - but so can we, and we'd better not forget that. The game in Munich is an inspiration in this context. We all thought Pellers had given up: through to the last 16, clearly not as good as Munich and with Arsenal to play on Saturday...pick a "second eleven" and hope you don't lose too heavily!!! That night Ya Ya was suspended, Vinnie and Sergio were on the bench (and stayed there!), Samir was not even in the squad, our CBs were the much maligned Lescott and Dimichelis, our captain was the similarly maligned Kolorov and we were two down in 12 minutes. Then we started to play! Silva was superb, Milner became Milner of Munich, Dzeko led the line superbly, Kolorov and Zaba ran riot and we won 3-2 against the strongest side Guardiola could field.

My point? That City squad has class and strength in depth. On form we are as good as any team on the planet - even with injuries.
