- There's Only One City
The red corporation buses with the city coat of arms on the side - in those days everyone knew what a Manchester coat of arms was as they saw it every day.
Blokes carrying crudely constructed stools for their little lads to stand on.
Football rattles - some painted in blue white and maroon.
Young players arriving on the bus - e.g. Kenny Clements.
Blokes pissing down alley ways.
Being able to walk in at a minute to three, and pay cash.
The Kippax throwing up so much smoke you could have hid a battleship in it.
Having to buy a programme to make sense of the half time scores.
Chanting 'toodle ooodle ooodle do, who the fuckin hell are you?' at the opposition as they ran out.
Sometimes having a brass band to provide musical entertainment.
