Believe it or not, the City's colours are very popular in the US largely because of a very special athlete

i don't quite agree with your statement. i started supporting city long before winning anything. i was supporting city when all YOUR british media was treating city as trying to "buy" titles and glory. so i am not a glory hunter like you seem to allude to ;)

I'm same as you mate. Born in California, live in Atlanta, GA. Never been to the UK. First match I saw was the 4-3 Fergie time derby, Setanta was giving a free trial in the states. Fell in love with City that day and haven't missed a match since.

simple, i started supporting city since mancini joined. i knew city was going to be a big club, and i wanted to follow the transformation it was going through, and in time i became a big fan like any other city fan in this forum. in tokyo, i stay up until very late at night alone just to watch city games. And i am very very happy and excited to see what city has been able to achieve so far.

Get the part about the parkside's bogs? There is no secret that there are tens of thousands of people all over the continent asia and world wide who support united because they have been winning. I don't care if someone is a blue because they 'follow' a winning team or were born within a few yards from the ground.

BTW, i welcome glory hunters also, as it is less rags.

sorry to say but its not up to you to decide. as if you could have decided whether Mansour should have you bought city or not. I support city for many reasons i don't need to put down here, just like you don't have to justify it. think about it.
plus, if i am a glory hunter, i could have easily supported teams like barca, real madrid, munich, milan etc. ... but i never did and never will.
