Not that...

It is what it is, at no point in our successful years have I took it for granted. At any point it could have gone the other way. We’ve seen absolute utopian football and won a stupid amount of trophies that I could have barely imagined in the dark days. An out of form team is absolutely the least of my worries when it comes to city. Relegation to league two was a watershed moment for many reasons this in comparison is a walk in the park.

Diffidence between Man City fans and the entitled is we all said this will come to an end as in winning trophy after trophy after trophy every year! Pep will build a new squad and this new squad build by pep won't be as good as his last 8 years but we will compete for trophies titles!

If we finish 6th so what all the other clubs have finished outside top 4 last 10/14 years!

It was the least nervous I've been for this fixture in years as Liverpool fans had already told us they'd won the title and everybody had written us off. Pressure was off and it almost felt like a bit of a free hit.

What I am more pissed off about is Haaland, Akanji et al laughing and joking around at one nil down to our biggest rivals from the past 10 years when we're already 8 points behind them in the table. When Dias (know he played today) Rodri, KDB etc aren't on the pitch I almost feel like we're too nice and that we severely lack any kind of physicality. A few players in the Kompany, Fernandinho mould that despise losing wouldn't go amiss.

I fully expect some backlash, but honestly I’m not.

Sounds a bit protesting too much, but again I’m not.

Todays loss was expected, not title gone as I thought for awhile we where not at it.

Whether it’s the success of previous seasons or the acceptance that this is just not our year.

Whether it’s the mental exhaustion of the 115 and if that goes this season, I’d be happy with that.

If we get a 20 point deduction and we’re 15 points of the top, in a weird way I would find it quite funny it’s not cost us a title (other issues I know).

Maybe I just believe the team needs a refresh and this is inevitable.

Whatever it is, I’m annoyingly ok with it.
That’s completely normal to feel like that.

You’re content with what we’ve won recently and you’re giving the team and manager time and grace as well as allowing all they’ve saved up in the bank to rebuild and go again next season to be spent.

All good! MCFC OK

I was talking with a blue today who is enjoying this.
I’m not but he says he now tips up and doesn’t know what’s going to happen after a good number of years expecting a win.
Getting like the old days he says.
Pretty sure he will soon change his opinion.
I’m already more exited about Forest at home on Wednesday after the last seven games than I would have been if we’d just won seven in a row and would be expecting an easy 5-1er.

I’m accepting because no team wins all the time. We’ve broken record after record. It was always gonna end. But we can get it back again. We’re not going anywhere now.
That’s it.

This was always going to happen at some point, maybe not the way it has.

The court case unfortunately long term is bigger, even if we’re innocent and fully confident, it going would be a huge lift.
