Not that...

I am bothered as I hate city losing.

However, I can agree with a lot of your points. For me this feels like a blip and not the end of the world. I expected it last season.

Due to past achievements, everyone is due a break from the usual emotional insults. City is our club and when it’s going through a hard time we stick together.

The media and some posters are making far too much about nothing if you ask me. Sure that’s normal theses days.

Hope we kick start something tho against Forest.

As a fanbase we have had a lot of pressure on us from constantly competing at the top and winning and also dealing with the charges. We all need a break and this season due to performances we will get that chance to reset.

That’s not to say we now accept shit. A realistic off season was inevitable. It has to stop at some point tho, hopefully that’s against Forest.

What is surprising is that the hangover season that had to come after doing the treble was deferred for one season. Not just deferred. Astoundingly, Pep got the lads to win yet another title. All I ask is that we regroup, we fight, we have a decent second half to the season. Maybe even that's too much. But I would be thoroughly satisfied if that were met.

I'm not as bothered as I probably should be, I didn't think we'd win it last season, so I didn't expect us to win it this year, I expect our form to pick up over the coming weeks, hopefully starting on Wednesday. Keep behind the boys and things will change pretty soon.
exactly this, thought we'd win the CL last season, didn't think we'd be consistent enough to win the league. Despite the great start, I didn't think we'd win anything this year. All teams go through periods of transition/rebuilds. In the past under Pep it's gone well, but the last 2 tx windows have been dire and this has been coming. Big test for Pep and his team now is how it's dealt with in January and, more importantly, the summer windows. We need to spend and spend wisely.

Plenty of teams have seasons like we are and that's after winning a SINGLE prem trophy... let alone 6 in 7, including 4 in a row and a Chanpions League

Obviously it's frustrating that this has festered and the club, who usually are run as the gold standard, haven't planned properly by allowing the club to get to this stage with an ageing and unmotivated squad

This is also under the assumption that the slump finishes and we don't just freefall into oblivion, that requires Pep and the players taking a bit of accountability and have some pride

So no, I'm not particularly arsed.... more annoyed that our downfall means the Dippers are now gonna win the league which will be insufferable

Get top 4, then let's see some real aggression in the summer window and usher in the next big title pushes
