Like any other huge gathering there is money to be made selling drugs, impossible to stop everyone and thoroughly search them on entry. Just look at Creamfields plenty get nicked for shotting. The young lads in the gangs don't give a fuck about the police one bit they will stab people in broad day light over nothing.
Watched some of it on a stream on youtube, far too crowded for my liking but anyway there was a woman twerking on a fucking 5 year old what's all that about, disgusting.

You think that doesn’t also apply to other mass public events? Protests, football, festivals, the police always become passive when they’re outnumbered 100 to 1.
But by pretending it only happens at Notting Hill, people invent a situation where they can ignore the facts to justify the feelings they have towards this particular event, for whatever reason they hold those feelings.
