Peps weakness has beenb to have misguided faith in players who served him well but are no longer capable of performing at a high level, whether it be form, age or injury.
Players like Kovavic, Philipps, Nunes aren't a patch on the players they replaced.
liverpool let go of 1st team regulars like Firminho, Mane and Fabinho and replaced them with players that have improved them.

Previous years he used to run past van dijk like he was a minor league defender. But now he has no dribbling skills, No goals. Assist, he was not particularly good in that even before. Yes he runs a lot. He does that even now. But as a team leader he needs to deliver more. So does foden.
Previous years we used to have flair of Debruyne, Bernardo, foedn, Grealish and Gundo. This year no one are good enough. I fear we will not find some players with flair even in next transfer window. It seems MCatee is not good enough for us.
