Nottingham Forest (A) | Post Match Thread

It is difficult for me to express my feeling while watching this game and so many easy chances wasted. Can not believe what happened and the final outcome. It is not the first time and I am sure with City it will not be the last, it is something that I have learned over the years.

I am more pissed off with having a shiny new striker and still being as wasteful. Substitutions aren't the problem
Cannot agree with you.
Substitutions are important now than ever - that's why you can use 5 of the buggers.
1-0 is never enough to ensure victory. Yes, you can dominate a game and create several excellent chances and think/assume your team will see the game out.
However, sometimes you need to react to the opposition's substitutions and their change in tactics ?
Pep has a history of not tinkering, mid-game, by using subs.
With a crucial game away to Leipzig (so a lot of travelling) on Wednesday, I find it odd that a manager doesn't bring on fresh legs to see a game out.

Went to the game yesterday thought we played really well. Was low down in the stand and some of those moves coming towards us in 2nd half were sublime. Good to see Foden back and full of confidence but why did he pass it?
KdB and Haaland had an awful second half and that's what cost us.

Topped of an absolutely sh*t weekend. With the Rags winning today as well.

Subs can ruin the balance of the team and the match itself as well not making them either. If we hadn't been creating chances of looking like a performance lacking in energy then make the subs then by all means bring the necessary changes. (Spurs home being prime example)

I fear the rags winning the title more than anything, if we don't win it need Arsenal to stop them. They have a top manager I regret to say and St Marcus can't stop scoring, mind you Spurs may fettle them tomorrow then panic over..
Thought they were playing Spurs today, I'm losing it, hate growing old but suspect the alternative is worse
