I dont blame haaland for a second...our system has made no adaptation whatsoever to him.

Thats why he makes runs all day long and gets ignored on key passes. I find our players ignoring him more as the season goes on. Perhaps why he hasn't scored as many this last bunch of games.
Does this last bunch of games include the hat trick he got against Wolves and this midweek’s goal v Arsenal?

Has he scored more goals towards the start of the season or in more recent games...you tell me?

Phillips is nowhere near ready starting a big must win game

He has to get fit and play his way back in, that starts from appearances off the bench or starting in lesser games.

Bernardo was fantastic against Arse so no reason not to try it again.

The problem yesterday was not killing the game, a freak result for me. Forest deserved nowt but got a point, fair play to em buts that's footy!

Didnt say start. Come on with 20mins to go is a different matter

Sounds like this will come as a surprise to you but teams watch game tape on players to adjust and gameplan... shocking, I know...

Thanks captain obvious. I was initially defending haaland and my post was about our team ignoring his runs more as the season went on. Some poster seemed to get defensive as if i was attacking haaland, and now this?

If you read back a few posts context is a beautiful thing.

Sadly yesterday's performance not putting our chances away will stop us from winning the title this season yesterday won't be the last game we don't finish the games off

I've just come to a conclusion that it's not our season and if we do win the league it will be unreal but I'm not to positive that's going to happen

to put in a performance against arsenal and then drop points at Forrest sums up our season and it will happen again I hope wrong

I blame Haaland for missing that chance yesterday, not overall for the result as others missed glorious chances.

He HAS to score and if he does the game is over.

It’s all good scoring hat tricks at home but those are the chances he has to take more regularly.

It was a game that was a bit like being sat at a poker table holding aces and getting all your chips in the pot against another player who turns over a lower pocket pair than you. You've got the prick dominated but then hits the 1 of the 2 cards he can hit on the river and thus taking your cash.

The cards were played well and in most scenarios you'll win but from time to time you get stung.

Frustrating but for me we've played well against Aston Villa, Arsenal and Forest so it's just one of those annoying results that the team will put right soon enough.

I'm more concerned about ManUre than Arsenal to be honest.

I felt the same until yesterday. I still think it's a proper punt of an outside chance, but there is a very clear route for them now. If, say, they beat Leicester, Arsenal lose against Leicester, and we beat Bournemouth then it starts to look very, very congested at the top all of a sudden. Especially so given we need to play Arsenal still.

After the frustration of yesterday, I think we need settle and realize we are in three horse race. We're not up against Liverpool of a few years ago, it's not a head to head where even a dropped point will cost you, and we need to focus on picking up every point we can.

It’s entirely possible.

Win today and they’re 3 behind us, with luck and momentum on their side.

We have neither now.
Problem United have is they are garbage with players like Weghorst. If Rashford bombs out they have nothing. Having said that if we keep frittering easy points away with our complacency they might get second.
