It's not pathetic. I hope we do play 10 or even 9 against 11 in training. We only went long from goal kicks yesterday because Eddie's kicks could reach Haaland well into the Forest half and he couldn't be offside. I'd have to check but I think he won the ball a couple of times even with two opponents near, and when he did lose it, the defence was already set up again. Losing it there was less risky than the alternative of possession football in our own half.I saw ESPN analysis with that ex Goalie Shaka something he said we should go down to 10 men more often to make the game competitive. The MOTD footage gives a completely different view and shows Rodri grabbing MGW by the throat, so can't have any complaints about the red card.
