A game of two halves.
Idiotic from Rodders.
I’d say 3 points is all that matters but Rodri missing the next 3 games isn’t great, especially considering it didn’t need to happen.
Ah well top of the league : )
 
Taylor was shocked again, But why give them a chance to try to change the result? We should not have risen to it and we were 2.0 coasting so crazy to even fall for it. Rodri will now miss games and Arsenal will be rubbing their hands because he was the major player in the games last season,

Great win with 10 men for 45 minutes and they never really tested Ederson until injury time
 
Great first half and would have liked to have seen us score more, a real reflection of our superiority. Act of stupidity by Rodri but he is an intelligent enough player to realise that, no way he was going to get away with that. Not quite sure why most of the rest of the team lost their heads a little after that. Ederson squaring up, Grealish too. Taylor is an idiot, lost complete control in the second half, don't think he knew what he was doing, flashing yellow cards all over the show.
I have developed a huge dislike for forest. I might have calmed down by tomorrow.
All in all a good three points but given our injuries we could have done without losing Rodri for three games.
 
Crowd played its part second half when required, good to see and could see the increase in volume gee'd up the players too.

Special mention to their fans who I thought were absolutely horrendous throughout. Not a peep out of them all game. Loudest song from them came at the end of the game as their manager went over to them.

Considering how much false praise they received last season for having a loud fambase they were dire. fulham made more of a noise last game and they brought about a third of their allocation and got smashed
 
Just home from the game. After about 20 minutes I thought this was going to be the day we were going to give someone a complete twatting. Forest were down and out and couldnt get near the ball. Then we just stopped playing, seemingly content to hold on to the lead.

I haven’t seen the replays but from what I could see it was a clear red card for Rodri. He raised his hands twice to the Forest player and you simply can’t do that. It looked to me like Ederson was fortunate to avoid red after he went head to head with a Forest player. Then it looked like Grealish was determined to get himself into trouble in which became an unnecesarilly ill disciplined second half.

Personally, I thought Pep’s tactic of going 5 at the back and effectively conceding the middle third of the pitch to Forest was strange but it doesn’t matter now. Another 3 points in the bag.

Oh come on..Taylor gave us nothing in that game..foul after foul unpunished..Even the most level headed person can lose it on occasion and I found Taylor shocking. I do not blame Rodri, and now we will see what KP can do with a run of a few games unless Pep has some cunning alternative plan.The shame is it happened when we have few tough games ahead of us, but Rodri will get a well deserved break.

Agree totally on their fans. All the big talk on their forums about our atmosphere and that is what their most dedicated fans in one of the biggest games of the season managed to produce. Half a song and a reaction on a red card. Embarrassing stuff.
 
taylor spoiled that game after he gave freekick halfway through first half it was poor cross field pass from walker and more than likely was free kick after that point he stop strated the game for any reason forest were clueless but he helpd the back into the game

?? What ?? All I was wondering was if something was said to Rodri I am not having ago a Rodri he has loads in the bank !
