I think the interesting thing is akanji and Gvardiol can both do that role. The 4 behind haaland has potential to be very fluid too. Grealish and De Bruyne have a good understanding too.

As I said to one poster before the Liverpool game. He plays like he has steel toe cap boots on.

im really not sure not going to be that. then youd be pushing Dias to right side.

its the usual back 3 with gvardiol free role. Doku right wing, Grealish left and a giant hole in the middle where our 3 midfielders (one over the hill, one needing a rest and one not fully fit) jogging back in desperation.

I'd say Akanji stays RCB mainly to have Dias as middle man in a back 3.

Gvardiol has his qualities going forward, he might play higher down the line instead of going inside in the mid.
