its the usual back 3 with gvardiol free role. Doku right wing, Grealish left and a giant hole in the middle where our 3 midfielders (one over the hill, one needing a rest and one not fully fit) jogging back in desperation.

Glad the Lewis Gundo midfield partnership is gone, but not sure KDB is going to provide the extra running needed!

I'd say Akanji stays RCB mainly to have Dias as middle man in a back 3.

Gvardiol has his qualities going forward, he might play higher down the line instead of going inside in the mid.
