Great first half, our pressing been really good, like the old times. After the second goal, we kinda played like we were tired a bit, Forest were fighting and we let them have a couple too many chances. But it also felt like we weren’t going full speed, like if Forest actually scored, we’d just step it up. So yeah, some of their chances probably wouldn’t have even happened if they had scored earlier. Or maybe we would collapse. Anyway, good game overally.

Marmoush is good enough as ST, but with time and alongside Haaland I expect him to be even better. Top quality.

Kovacic motm, brilliant first half and generally very good recently, most of the season really. Lewis, Gvardiol, Bernardo very good. Grealish been good but could be and must be even better. I did not love Savinho today though.

Games are won and lost in CM..if you have gundo and or KDB were done in all honesty.. kdb is sadly fked..takes him an age to set up a pass.. modern football ..at top level..that kills us.. now come on blues sell out on days of goin g on please!

That was the Kovacic show today, What a performance that was from Kova today, We all know what he brings to the table when he has support around him.

He's not a holding midfielder, He needs a Rodri alongside him to let the shackles off and make his busting runs forward, He's quite incredible at making those runs straight through the heart of the midfield and getting us at the opposition back four.

Great win that. Kovacic superb, Marmoush lively and Bernado rolling back the years. We scored goals at good times and got the luck when we needed it. Decent atmosphere in the poverty seats at the top where I was - on to the final.
