Were more solid with Gvardiol at Centre Half (despite his slip that nearly cost us today). Conceded 4 goals in the last 7 matches.

Compare that to Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb, were in a much better place now thankfully
 
First 25 mins was very good...and then in patches also after that also

The box 4 midfield helps us gain control and stop breakaways but once they started pressing us more and also once they brought Elanga on they had pace down the width and were able to get at us more....

Kovacic MOTM, Nico OReilly, Bernardo Silva were also very good...bernardo dropping deep and playing more central helped us control the game as well and for a young player Nico OReilly is very composed. GVardiol baring one major fuck up was very good to

Think Savihno can do more still and Marmoush looks good on the ball.

Why wont Grealish shoot?

Rico - decent game and very good goal for first half but disappeared or patches when they gained more possession

Some clown on talk sport the other day said the only player of note we’ve had out is Rodri.

All of them just hope and pray we fail.
 
They were never going to be as poor in the 2nd half as they were in the first. Our levels dropped off big time after we got the second. Overall, a third consecutive final is a remarkable achievement though.
Kovacic was outstanding and Rico Lewis played well too. Marmoush was busy and worked hard. Nico O'Reilly had a lot of great moments but he also needs to work on his defensive awareness when the ball is on the other side. Jack and Savinho need to do better.
Well done to Pep and the team and the fans who made the trip to support us.

To think we won that game without:
Ederson, Walker, Stones, Ake, Akanji, Rodri, KDB, Haaland!

What a club we have and if this season we've "fallen off a cliff" like i've been hearing, i like that our cliff lands on a top 4 place and an FA Cup final :-)

We ain't going anywhere blues!

Don't care how many times they hit the post! The object of the game is to get it between them! We did it twice and they didn't at all. I thought we were really good today. CTWD
