Job done, thought it was a strange line up but we got the result.
I know they hit the woodwork 3 times and on another day we could’ve conceded 3, but thought they didn’t really lay a glove on us.
FA Cup and CWC would rescue a wobbly season, and if we’d managed to win the games that we were leading in then we’d ve’ done 5 in a row.
A bigger squad and less injuries and it could be all good again.

The 'handball' that wasn't given. As I understand it if the hand contact prevents the ball going into the net then it doesn't matter if the hand contact was deliberate or not the penalty should be given. And that ball was going in!

Kovacic is such an enigma.

Always see him linked with leaving the club, or we've told him he's to find a new club in the summer.

But he's top draw for me. Agile, keeps the ball well, and can dribble.

Absolutely classy player, wish we'd had him 4/5 years prior just to enjoy his prime a bit more.

At the back Gvardiol was solid and cleared up a few tricky situations with the minimum of fuss. In midfield Kova and Bernado worked hard. Kova very creative. Several other decent performances, all in all a deserved win.
