Nottingham Forest (N) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Would like him to go for the line more. Not every time but random so that the covering defender is in two minds. At the moment he's definitely easy to defend against.
He looks best when he’s taking people to the line. He’s got a mega turn of pace, end product isn’t there yet but there’s time for him. He’s a grafter as well to be fair to him

its from International Football Association Board (IFAB), who are the international self-regulatory body of association football that is known for determining the Laws of the Game

it wasnt deliberate handball (no idea how you think it was deliberate), the defender put his arms behind his back like most do now to do all they can to avoid their hands touching the ball. In this instance Kova scuffed his shot a bit and it hit the arm. He wasnt waving his arms about at all…
Yeah, but we all know Liverpool, Manure and Arse all get that nailed on EVERY time.

Wherever that's from, it's not relevant to the incident.

It is an offence if a player:

  • deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball
  • touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised

The flick of the hand looked deliberate.

And for "unnaturally bigger" there's nothing saying a player can get away with waving arms around behind his back.

And whether it was going in is irrelevant (except for deciding if it prevented a goal)
Quick poll. Who thinks that is given in our area? I’ll start. I’m 99% certain that would’ve been given for Forest. Remember Jack making his body bigger against the rags?! It would’ve been that version of VAR used if it had been in our box.

Almost as if those who were baffled about the starting line actually know fuck all?
Yep and you guessed it - 30 odd pages after a win haha.
Pep masterclass in that first half. The way he nullified any threat from them on the counter with the formation and players he picked was something no one on here would have dreamed of doing. We got a bit sloppy in the second half which allowed them back in but you make your own luck and we deserved ours today. Awesome result. Something to look forward to at the end of a shit season. 10 unbeaten now :)

Certainly improved although had a bit of luck which as you say is deserved !

Judging by his interview and face at times he wasn’t impressed at all with the second half.
